How do I block my camera when entering a facility?
Simply open the CamBlock app and scan the Entry QR code provided at the facility gate. On Android, you'll need to grant Device Admin permissions. On iOS, you will be prompted to install a secure management profile.
Why did my camera app disappear on iPhone?
This is a security feature. On iOS, once the management profile is installed, the camera hardware is disabled and the system hides the Camera app entirely to ensure it cannot be used. It will reappear automatically once you exit.
How do I unblock my camera on Android?
When you are ready to leave the facility, open CamBlock and scan the Exit QR code. The app will automatically remove the restrictions and restore full camera access.
How do I unblock my camera on iOS?
Since the camera is disabled and the app might be hidden, you need to enter the Verification Code provided at the exit point into the CamBlock app. This will remove the management profile and restore your camera and app icons.
What if I encounter an error during scanning?
Ensure you have an active internet connection for the initial validation. If the QR code is not recognized, please ask the facility administrator for a fresh code or assistance.
